Ask A Master Gardener (AAMG) Project Description

Master Gardeners and interns work together to share information about gardening and provide research-based answers to questions from the public.

Project Goal

To support the gardening community in the Santa Fe area by providing an information hub where the community can bring gardening questions. Master Gardeners provide accurate, accessible, timely answers that are grounded in research and knowledge of local growing conditions and reflect sustainable gardening best practices.

Locations and Schedules

AAMG locations include:

·         Eldorado Farmers’ Market: 7 Caliente Road, La Tienda at Eldorado

Fridays, 3 to 6 PM, May through September

·         The Farmers Market at the Railyard, 1607 Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe

Saturdays 8 to 11 AM, June through August

·         Santa Fe Botanical Garden, 715 Camino Lejo, Santa Fe

Community Days 11 AM to 2 PM

·         Special Events: Seed Exchange, the SFEMG Garden Fair, the County Fair

·         Online available all year, through questions submitted at https://www.sfemg.org/gardening-questions
