Santa Fe County Fairgrounds, 3229 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe
The 2026 Garden Fair will include:
Plant Sale: an extraordinary selection of plants appropriate for our semi-arid climate. (Plant Sale List)
Garden Shed: shop for gently used donated garden tools and equipment. (flyer)
SFEMG Projects: Exhibits and Demonstrations showcasing SFEMG’s many volunteer projects.
Vendors & Exhibitors: a variety of local non-profits showcasing their community work and vendors selling gardening supplies
Workshop: Marisa Y. Thompson, PhD, NMSU Extension Urban Horticulture Specialist, will lead a discussion from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM on “Gardening Where You Are: Soil, Sun, and Success in Santa Fe.” Local gardeners know that success here isn’t one-size-fits-all. This workshop blends local garden stories, photos, and hard-earned lessons with plant science and research-based guidance to help make sense of Santa Fe’s soils, microclimates, and growing conditions. Together, we’ll look at what worked, what didn’t, and why—drawing connections between native plant adaptations, tomato trials, and everyday garden decisions. Expect practical tips, shared learning, and plenty of “you’re not alone” moments.
Kids Corner: Fun and educational activities for children and families.
