DETAILS: Discover how to manage and build your own soil-less growing system to get your garden started. Learn about managing a soil-less production system, using controlled environments such as greenhouses and indoor spaces. In the afternoon, you will participate in building a growing system using materials that are locally sourced. You will be working with power tools, so dress appropriately and do not wear open-toed shoes. Safety and personal protection equipment will be provided. You will receive a complete building manual to build you own system including a parts and price list and list of vendors. It is recommended that you complete the workshop “Growing without Soil” before participating in this more advanced workshop.
